I’d been coveting this Quadrille Arbre de Matisse wallpaper forever and decided to splurge in this small space. My dad installed the beadboard and chair rail to add a little architectural interest and keep things light and bright, plus it meant we could get away with ordering half as much wallpaper. We used this inexpensive beadboard and this chair rail (both painted this color) and it looks like it’s always been part of the house. We considered a number of different gliders and I’m really glad we went with this one in the optic white. (The exact style is no longer available but this one is similar in style and price!) The next piece I ordered was this custom changer from ducduc. I knew we didn’t have space for a separate changing table and dresser, so this piece functions as both with a separate topper we can remove once we’re past our diaper-changing years. My mom and I made a trip to their showroom in New York to check out all the different options in person and decided on this Savannah dresser with five drawers, nickel hardware, and interior drawers custom painted to match the wallpaper. BUILDING A MUDROOM/LAUNDRY ROOM BETWEEN OUR PLAYROOM AND THE GARAGE  //  This project was also part of our renovation project last winter and spring and made this house so much more livable for a family with young children.
